The weekend went by really fast as always. But then again my face was drowned in letters, paper crafts, kdramas, and some Walking Dead. It was still fun, though, and I still call it being productive.
Today I went to the post office and mailed out all the envies aka envelopes. I just wish my post office offered a wider variety of stamps, or maybe that's just standard everywhere, or maybe I just send out too many letters that they all start to look familiar. Who knows. But the stamps definitely do seal the deal in completing the overall snail mail look.
Tonight I feel like eating pho and drinking a coffee boba tea. I deserve it, my taste buds deserve it, and my sore fingers deserve it. Am I the only one that presses down hard when writing? I can't help it either, it's always been part of my writing style.
Paper crafting is so much fun. I ran out of glue, so I had to put a hold on it myself. But your envelopes look really adorable, wow.
ReplyDeleteAnd no, I press down hard when writing too, ahaha.
If you buy your stamps online you can get a bunch of different ones. There is a round one with the globe on it, cherry blossoms and bonsai, apples and different years of Chinese zodiac animals. I should write more, but I don't really have anyone to write to :\

Yeah, I've seen the Chinese zodiac stamps around and was hoping that my post office carried them, but no. I'll just have to shop online. :)
DeleteP.S. If you need someone to write to there are plenty of penpal forums online, or even try postcrossing. I signed up for that just recently and it's really fun. Or, you can feel free to email me and we can exchange lovely letters. ;)
That would be great! Once I find my paper. We are moving right now, so everything is packed up and buried.
DeleteI should also look on one of the forums and see if I can get a Korean penpal, that away I can practice at the same time :)
so pretty!:D
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute! I'll have to try paper crafting at some point xx
ReplyDeleteI found ordering online offers a wider range of stamps compared to if I go to the post office. If anything when I go to the post office they stick the ugly big gold sticker on which I feel ruins my envelopes and has stopped me decorating them. The only downside to ordering online is that you are charged postage but its worth it :)
ReplyDeleteYou're right. I don't know why I didn't think of ordering them online...thank you for the suggestion! By the way, your mail drawings are so pretty! I always enjoy seeing what new designs you come up with.
DeleteNot sure if I use the right words, but your envelopes looks refreshing.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
ReplyDeleteI like your blog! Now I follow you!! maybe you can visit my blog and follow me back :)

ReplyDeletebtw - thank you for commenting on my blog! ^^
Very decorative! I love snail mail! :)
ReplyDeleteThe stamp isn´t important in the beautifull envelop. ;)
ReplyDeleteThese envelopes are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI wish someone wrote me snail mails still. Trust me, your stamps are better looking than Oz's stamps.
Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog. Hope to see you there again.
