New York trip- Day 1

As promised I've finally come around to posting my New York  pictures. Gosh, I had so much fun on this trip.

Being that we were coming from a red-eye flight, my boyfriend and I rushed to check in the hotel (at 7:00 am!), dropped our bags, and took a 3 hour nap. We wanted to make sure we had plenty of energy for our upcoming day.

Our view in the room was spectacular and overlooked the beautiful Battery Park with the Statue of Liberty just in the distance. A little telescope was placed by the window so we were able to look at Miss Liberty whenever we pleased. 

After our nap, we bought a ticket for a city tour bus and made our way up to Times Square. From there we looked around in awe, snapped away with our cameras, took a break at Madison Square Garden, people watched, and then stumbled upon Korea Town. It was such perfect timing as we were both in need of some energy after all that walking.

It was a good start to our week vacation.
