For our first night in Chicago, my friend and I didn't even know where to start or go for dinner. We were so overwhelmed with options, we couldn't decide on just one. So luckily we left it up to the concierge at our hotel and was recommended this restaurant, Embeya. We were told it was a must try especially being that the chef was recently voted one of the top 10 upcoming best chefs in America. Let me tell you, it was such a great suggestion.
Once again we left it in the hands of someone else which happened to be our server, as we couldn't decide on what to order. He suggested the Thai basil clams for an appetizer and we went with it, and oh my gosh, it was delicious! I love cilantro and garlic, so this was just mouth-watering good to me.
For dinner we split a garlic chicken entree with a side of green beans sauteed with fresh coconut strips and a bowl of jasmine rice. This dinner was definitely a treat for us and set the start of our trip just right. (Oh, not to mention that it also helped that we had some creme puffs and champagne for dessert.)
It sounds and looks delicious!!
