Living in a city where Korean food is limited can be challenging sometimes. The existing restaurants and stores are either over priced or just not quite how I like them as far as taste. But once in a while, I'll stumble across a hidden gem and it makes me appreciate it that much more.
Being that my birthday celebration just passed, I chose to eat Korean food all day that day. Lunch was at this cute little Korean restaurant that just opened up, and dinner was at my favorite (and only option) downtown restaurant where I stuffed my self silly with samgyupsal.
I love Korean food and this little place looks really cute and charming. :) Happy belated birthday!
ReplyDeleteIt's my absolute fav! And thank you so much!
DeleteI enjoy eating Korean food too! Watching Korean variety shows like 2D1N exposes me to different types of Korean food - especially street food! I want to try naeng myun but I guess I have to wait until October, my friend and I are planning to go to Seoul at that time. Belated happy birthday!
ReplyDeleteYes, korean street food is so good, especially the dukboki and mandu. How long will you be in Korea for? I'll be visiting Seoul this year as well. You'll have so much fun!
DeleteI've only eaten at one Korean BBQ place in Houston, I loved it! The owner decided to make some changes...it's the same owner it's just now a crawfish place. :/ I have no idea why he decided to change cuisine. But he did...such a sad thing.
ReplyDeleteThe place you ate at looks like it's good. :9
You can never go wrong with some Korean BBQ. And that grilled meat taste....mmmm! I'm glad you like it!
