Do I dare say that I may have found my planner peace through this Filofax Original Patent in nude? Can I also just say that I'm so glad I decided to purchase this beauty given the high sticker price! I've been having so much fun setting it up, getting my sections organized, and planning out the weeks. The filo-craze and hype is real, my friend.
As you can see, I've been organizing and inserting away. The fact that this notebook is a ring binder is just wonderful. Ring and spiral notebooks are my favorite and they're the way to go. I can easily add in, take out, add more, hide things, clip on, and stuff in so much!
And call me silly, but for some reason when I had placed my order in for this (back in the end of October), I thought that because it was close to the end of the year, Filofax would include the 2015 calender inserts. Nope. They sent the planner with the whole year of 2104...even though I could only use the 2 remaining months out of it. I guess that's what I get for assuming, right? So as a little annoyed as I was, I drove over to Staples and picked up these calender inserts and weekly planner refills by Day Runner. In the end these worked out better anyway because I prefer the line layout on weekly inserts. It's easier to tame my sloppy handwriting.
Have you found planner peace?
Those weekly pages look great! I, too, need lines in order to write un-sloppily! And the Nude Originals are just gorgeous. I've never loved a (basically) beige color so much!
ReplyDeleteI have found planner peace in daily pages. I tried weekly pages recently and just couldn't do it. Not enough space, and too much to see all at once!
The lines are so helpful and prevents that awkward slant. Yes, this nude color is just...uuh! Can't even explain it. Don't know how it go me so in love with it, but it did! My last Mead planner was a daily page journal, which I found it so much better to plan multiple tasks on with the given space. That's one thing I wish filofax planners had, more writing space on these teeny tiny pages. ;)
DeleteMichelle! I tagged you for the Liebster Award! You can read about it here - http://heycharlieblog.com/2015/01/26/leibsteraward/

Thank you so much for tagging me, Charlie! How thoughtful! When I get a chance, I'll try to do it! And happy to see that we're both 5'2 twins. ^_^ Hope you're having a great week!
DeleteI picked out this thin Paper Source planner. It's beautiful, but then I started seeing a lot of Kiki K planner pics on Instagram. I'm in love with the mint one. XD
ReplyDeleteThe mint one is beautiful! I remember when it first came out I couldn't stop liking all of the posted pics of it everywhere!
DeleteI love your photos & glad that you have found planner peace.
ReplyDeleteIf you contact Filofax, I am sure that they would send you a 2015 diary.
I have just bought a red Winchester & it's definitely 'the one', so I am in the process of selling everything else :)
Hmm, I never thought to contact Filofax directly for that. Thank you for the suggestion!
DeleteHappy to hear that you, too, have found 'the one' as well! Isn't it just the greatest feeling? It's like..well, you're at peace. :)
I like those inserts better, anyway. You know, people are constantly asking about "professional" looking colors that aren't black or brown. I think this planner definitely qualifies.
ReplyDeleteSo true! This color is unique, different, and pretty, but still gives off a professional look as well if needed to. This may be another reason as to why I was so drawn to this planner now that I think about it..
DeleteO yes!!! the best thing is that we're able to play around with it and change things the way we like. I started filling things in it today! I like to get ideas and tips from YouTubers.. so I'm kind of addicted at the moment :P It's so much fun to look at. So I can't wait to see your setup!
