Even though the word itself seemed so simple, it meant so much more. To 'create' was to:
- let go of the mighty ego (this audiobook really helped me with that)
- let go of all the tiny insecurities
- and most of all, to release all and any fear of actually creating.
It was time to release all inner and outer judgments, and pursue all of the creative thoughts and ideas I had built up in this busy little head of mine.
Next year, 2016, it's time to 'flourish' in all those creative ideas, and to stick through it no matter what. It's time to see it all manifest into the actions, those actions that had only once been in my daydreams... 2016, I'm ready for ya!
What will be your powerful focus word for 2016?
I have read other blogs about a word of the year and never thought much about it. I would casually ponder it for a few minutes but nothing would stick or jump out at me. For some reason, while reading this post, the word "cleanliness" just appeared in my head. In my environment, in my eating, in my thoughts. I think that's it for me. This feels right.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
