ReplyDeleteHi Christy. May you have a delightful and happy rest of the week!
DeleteMy husband of 37 years died in 2008. Shortly after that, I was in the grocery store and the checker said "Have a nice day!" And I thought, yes maybe some day I will have a nice day again. And it turned out to be true. I still miss my late husband. I married a man that I became friends with, during the awful time that my husaband was sick. He lost his wife and we have that bond in common.
ReplyDeleteToday is just today. It may be the most awful time of your life. But you do not know what tomorrow will bring. The best times of your life are still out there. Be grateful for everything you have today and know that this day will pass. You do not lose by holding onto hope.
Sorry for your loss! I love your insight as well. <3 Hugs.
